Craftsy Class Picks

I'm not sure there is anything better in life than learning. I adore Craftsy because they create such a positive learning atmosphere, and encourage you to hone your skills at your convenience. The classes are inexpensive and have real experts at the helm.

Here are my current Craftsy Class picks:

Beyond Rectangles with Linda Permann

Linda Permann is totally adorable and has made some of my favorite crochet patterns, including all of the great patterns in Little Crochet and Sweet Azalea from Prairie Bliss book 1. She's a real, honest to goodness, crochet mastermind and I can only imagine how informative and wonderful her classes on Craftsy can be!

How to Say It

One of the biggest struggles for me when creating a new pattern is to explain it well. How do you take physical motions and explain them to knitters of all backgrounds and experiences? This class looks like a fantastic window into rethinking how to explain concepts to knitters of all kinds.

Spinning Dyed Fibers

I really want to get my spinning game back! I have a cute wheel but it's been so long since I've used it! If you have seen Sweet Georgia Yarns you know how gorgeous their work is. I'm not sure a class about spinning can get any better than being lead by someone who makes such gorgeous, expertly crafted yarn.

I feel so inspired now! Once we're settled in the new place I have to break out my wheel. And I definitely see myself digging back into spinning and pattern designing once I have a dedicated work space again.
