It's moving week! We're moving into a two bedroom apartment, and it's been super stressful and fun getting ready. I'm really torn on how to set up the office, but I know I want a long, wide, white desk with a simple design.

Or my personal favorite, this:
I love the idea of a chic office with lots of nerdy posters and pictures above it. Oh, and a TARDIS door.
The best I can figure, the desks are made from this table:
And one of these in the middle:
Which I have to admit, I like a lot better than most of the standard desks. The idea of building my own is very appealing.
We're planning a trip to IKEA on Saturday or Sunday, so I know I'll get a better sense of what my options are once I can see them in person.
Any cost-saving tips or recommendations?
