Some nights I just want to listen to this song on repeat for hours. It's the perfect cool funk jazz. The whole album is fantastic, but this song in particular really speaks to me.
The song comes and goes in phases for me. Of course it's used brilliantly in Captain America: Winter Soldier, and that's probably what a lot of folks today are going to recognize it from. For me, I keep running into this album while doing film music research. Lately, the reference that planted this song in my brain is Kristopher Spencer's Film and Television Scores, 1950-1979: A Critical Survey by Genre which you can check out (in a limited format) on Google Books.
