| Good Boy, Blue |
As some of you know, I am a big supporter of my alma matter, Butler University. I wear the blue and white proudly and know all the words to the alma matter (and even have two Butler Chorale shirts with the words on them!).
This month the Butler family lost a very special member: Butler Blue II, the university's live mascot. It was a very emotional time for me; Blue II and I started at Butler the same semester, and his presence is very vivid in my memory of my time there.
I am so happy to see this book, Good Boy, Blue, is coming out next year! I've been hearing inklings about a children's book for a while now, and it looks fantastic. Even better, it's illustrated by a former colleague of mine from my time working for the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, Jingo de la Rosa.
Good Boy, Blue!
