I picked up a new Doctor Who eaglemoss figure today, and it's one of my favorites from the New Series so far.
I finally picked up a new Doctor Who Eaglemoss figure today. I think I've mentioned before that I'm more and more disinterested in collecting the whole line, and find myself more inclined to just get iconic baddies and Classic Series villains. Not many of the New Series figures have piqued by interest, though I do have the Vashta Nerada, Judoon, Silence, and a few others. I think so far the Scarecrow is my favorite from the New Series villains.
I think my favorite part of this Scarecrow is the posture. It's not quite right; slightly leaning forward, like you imagine all creepy inanimate-objects-turned-baddies carry themselves. Plus the detail in the fabric on the face and shirt is just so pretty. I love these. The trick now is finding a good way to display them now that I have 13 of them. One shelf just isn't cutting it anymore…
