The 5 Mile a Week Challenge

I'm getting old. No really. This summer I turn 30. And I think it's time to get myself in better shape.

I'll be honest, I probably take better care of myself now than I have in the last 10 years or so. But the ups and downs of size and weight are starting to really bum me out. So I've decided between now and August 3rd, my 30th birthday, I'll be running at least 5 miles a week.

This isn't a ton, it's totally doable, and I know it will make a difference. I also do a tiny weight/mat circuit after I run, so I know I'll get some toning done as well.

  1. Yay running! My current goal: run this August's 5k faster than I ran last August's 5k. Ambitious goal: run this June's 5k faster than last August's 5k.
