Picked up a few blind-box collectables at Austin Comics/Guzu Gallery today. Well, I may have cheated a little. So the All 11 Doctors line from Titans started up recently but I had never seen them in person… until today, when I saw the Second Doctor hanging out as the display figure at the counter. ABC is super cool and has policy that if you get a blind-boxed figure that you don't like, you can swap it with the display one. So really it was a win/win for me. Picked up a box, opened it up, and it was the Tenth Doctor.
Fffffffffffff.
As pretty much everyone knows, the Tenth Doctor is pretty much my least favorite Doctor. Of all the figures I'd pick, of course I'd pick him. Ugh. Good thing I could swap him out for my favorite Doctor, which I did. He's awesome. I love it.
Over at Guzu Gallery they had Kid Robot blind-boxed Futurama keychains, so naturally I got one of those. Zapp is okay I guess; I was hoping for Slurms McKenzie. I might have to go back and try again; after all, they're only 5.99. Not as big of a blow to the wallet.
Stay tuned for some shots of my new Eaglemoss (!!!) Doctor Who figures that are blowing my mind right now. Seriously.
I have one of those Futurama keychains. I got Lrrrr. His cape is pretty cool, but I would've preferred Nibbler.
