Charlie always says that Remains is his favorite Alkaline Trio album, which always seems a bit funny to me because it's just a bunch of b-sides and one-offs. But it does have some of their best songs on it, like "Warbrain."
This past week at work we had a "Back to School Daze" themed HR thing, where people were encouraged to dress up like they did in grade school/high school submit their grade school pictures in a big guessing game. They also served PB&J sandwiches for lunch and stuff like that.
Interesting how one of their best songs came from a Rock Against Bush compilation. Ah, those were the days.
So I suited up in my standard high school (and college, honestly) outfit: band shirt, hoodie, jeans, Chucks. And I couldn't help but blast Alkaline Trio in the car on my way to and from work that day too.
